Psalm 24:1 declares that: “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”
This week, I have had a strong desire to become a better steward over the things that God has given me, and then tonight at church the Bible lesson was on stewardship. Look at how God works! I am was convicted and challenged, yet excited over the teaching from the Word of God tonight and I am going to strive to do better. Everything that we have is the Lord’s, he is lending it to us and it is up to us to be faithful over what He has given us.
Many times stewardship is equated with money or other financial items, but in what other ways can you, can I be better stewards? The first thing that comes mind is my time – am I using the 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds of each day to honor God and fulfill His will? Or am I wasting it with futile pursuits? In what ways can I give more time to prayer, study, personal development, loving others, and the work of the Lord?
In addition to time, and financial resources, are we fully committing our talents to the Lord? In what ways can I be a better steward? This is definitely something I will be praying over more and more, and am grateful that the Lord has reminded me of this requirement. I encourage and pray that you will search your heart, pray and seek God about how you can be a better steward over what He has given you.
“When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.” Luke 12:48 NLT
Have a great night and thanks for reading! Be blessed! ~t
Here’s a great song to start off your morning! We have been allowed to see another day & should thank the Lord for it!
Just Another Day by Vashawn Mitchell
Also, today’s “Verse of the Day” from Biblegateway.com is:
“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke 19:10 (NLT)
Jesus came to the earth, died, was buried, & rose again on the third day so that you may be free & have eternal life! All you have to do is obey the plan for salvation found in Acts 2:38: “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” It’s that simple! And guess what?! The Bible also tells us that “…the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” in Acts 2:39, so it is for you! Don’t delay! Seek God & allow Him to work in and through you!

This has got to be one of my favorite modern pop art images! Sometimes life throws us some not-so-fun curve balls (I’m a big sports fan, so you will see many more sports references lol), but we have to remember that it will all work out for the good of them that love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). So enjoy! ~t
Here’s a fun, upbeat song to help you through the rest of your afternoon!
God is Good” by Lisa Page-Brooks
Here’s one of my favorite passages in the Bible that I wanted to share!
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Philippians 4:5-8 NLT
Remember no matter what, give all of your cares and anxieties to Jesus because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7)… But while giving your problems over to God, remember to exalt and thank God for what He has done. By doing this you will remind yourself of how great and powerful He truly is! And no matter what, try to keep your mind on pure, wholesome things and not get distracted by the allurements of this world. 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us to cast down imaginations and anything that tries to exalt itself above the knowledge of God, and so many battles are begun in the mind. Cast down negative thoughts and “Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (Philippians 4:8 NLT)”
I hope you have a wonderful day! God bless! ~t
